Sarah Jégou-Sagenman / France
Sarah Jegou studied in Paris and Berlin under the tutelage of Boris Garlitsky, Philippe Graffin, and Mihaela Martin. She is currently a student at the prestigious Kronberg Academy.
Jegou has garnered awards in several international competitions and performs extensively across France and Europe as both a soloist and chamber musician. Her regular collaborators include pianists Rodolphe Menguy and Nathalia Milstein.
In 2023, she recorded an album with fellow Kronberg Academy student Martina Consonni and Korean cellist Jeein You.
During the 2023/24 season, Jegou, as the lead violinist of the Sonoro Quartet, performed at renowned venues such as the Musikverein in Vienna and the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg. She plays a Jean-Baptiste Vuillaume violin, generously loaned by Talents et Violoncelles.
